Queensway supports Colgate Oral Health Month

Colgate Oral Health Month, in partnership with the British Dental Association is a leading UK campaign for promotion of improved oral health. The theme for the 2011 campaign is ‘The importance of a Good Oral Care Regime for a Healthy Mouth’, with the following messages:

  • Brush twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste, last thing at night and on one other occasion
  • Just spit after toothbrushing, rinsing will wash the fluoride away!
  • Avoid toothbrushing straight after acidic food or drinks to help prevent enamel erosion
  • Avoid sugary snacks and drinks between meals
  • Visit the dentist regularly

During the month of September Queensway Dental Clinic will be raising the awareness of improved oral health.

If your child is an NHS patient at Queensway, they are invited to attend an ‘Oral Health Education Session’ with us. This is a one-to-one session with a dental professional who will teach the importance of brushing to maintain good oral health and hygiene.

If you would like to book your child a place on an Oral Health Education session with us, call 01642 554 667.
