Alison Powton

Ali has worked for Queensway Dental since2007. During this time, she hascompletedseveral qualifications. Her role asData Processorinvolves working closely with the Reception Team, and producing reports for the management team.

What do you enjoy most about working at Queensway?

I enjoy my role as Data Processor because it is interesting and varied. I work with the most amazing team of professionals and there is a real ‘work-family’ feel to Queensway Dental, which I love.

Where would a patient usually find you in the practice?

I have a small office which is near the waiting area.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

It means a lot to me that I am part of a team that I can contribute to in a valuable way. I’m very particular and like to get things just right, andfeel accomplishedhavingcompleteda report which I have presented well.Also, Iembracenewchallenges, and as my role develops I enjoy learning new skills.

What do you enjoy doing out of work?

I am an outdoor person, so I like gardening, walking, beach-time, live music,and getting out with my family.

What makes you smile?

Simple Pleasures – Fresh air, flowers, sunshine, my favourite bands, my kids enjoying themselves.
