Greta Leatherland

I have been working in dentistry since 2010. I started out as a dental nurse and worked in both NHS and private practices throughout the years which I loved and gained lots of invaluable experience in this field. However, the passion for dentistry, urge to learn more and wanting to be directly involved with patient care have led me to obtain a degree in Oral and Dental Health Sciences. Now I can truly say I am living my best life in terms of career, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I love every aspect of being a dental therapist, but especially helping nervous patients overcome their anxieties and achieve their oral health goals, and also treating children.

What do you enjoy doing out of work?

I love travelling, going out for dinner, and enjoying the company of my fiancé, friends, and family. In terms of my creative side, I love upcycling vintage furniture and giving it new life. It's incredible what a bit of paint and elbow grease can achieve!
