Where would a patient usually find you in the practice?
In main building in surgery 9 alongside my nurses Paula and Kelly
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Managing to treat extremely anxious patients (both adults and children) effectively, when a patient thanks me for helping them, smiles after treatment and feels confident coming to see me or when children skip into the surgery and their parents tell us they love coming to see us.
What do you enjoy doing out of work?
Spending time with family (sometimes this is limited due to the hour commute to/from work each way) and I also love travelling when I take annual leave - I love visiting new places but a favourite would be Santorini.
What makes you smile?
My family - I have a big family and love spending quality time with them, my friends - particularly my fellow dental therapists at QDC as I am guaranteed to laugh every day and a close third would be peanut butter!
