Jane Robson

Jane has been in the dentistry profession since 1996 starting her career as a dental nurse, she then progressed to a managerial role in 2001. Jane has always enjoyed the clinical aspect of dentistry especially the patient interaction and therefore chose to advance her career by attending Newcastle University to train for the Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. Jane qualified as a Dental Therapist in 2009 whereby she now can perform many treatments from scale and polish, periodontal treatment, fillings in both adults and children and extractions of children's teeth. Last year Jane further advanced her learning by completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Studies to enhance her knowledge and skills to benefit both the patients and her peers. She has been a member of the practice since November 2017 and enjoys every aspect of her role here. She loves helping patients overcome fears and enjoys the company of patients that regularly attend to see her. Jane enjoys a very balanced home and work life which is shown in her enjoyment of her role at the practice. When not at the practice Jane enjoys spending time with her family and walking with her dogs.
