Donna Sharp

Donna started working at Queensway Dental as a Dental Nurse in 2008. After working here for just over a year, she decided she wanted to further her career in dentistry and was successfully accepted on the Dental Hygiene and Therapy course at Teesside University. In 2013, after three years full time studies, she graduated with a BSc Honours degree and returned to Queensway Dental Clinic as a Dental Therapist. In this time has completed the SAAD Inhalation Sedation course which enables her to provide inhalation sedation for anxious patients.

What do you enjoy most about working for Queensway?

I enjoy working with paediatric and nervous patients.

Where would a patient usually find you in the practice?

You would usually find me in surgery 11 working with Dental Nurse, Megan.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Helping patients overcome their dental phobia is what I find most rewarding.

What do you enjoy doing out of work?

Outside of work I like to spend time with family and friends. I also like to keep physically fit and attend Pilates classes.
